2013 SBSA Holiday Party

When:  Saturday, December 7th, 2013 – 6:30pm

Where:  Robin’s Cantina – Take Foothill Rd (192) to Ontare Rd. Go north (uphill) on ontare to the end At the cul-de-sac end of Ontare, continue on the private Rd through the gate (Gate code was sent via email). Robin’s driveway is the second right turn (uphill) after the small wooden bridge, aprox. 3/4 MI from Ontare. There is a large steel gate (open) about 100ft up the dirt driveway from the road, after the gate, stay to the left past the big metal buildings.   See maps under directions below.

Dress:  Warm! Party theme this year is festive holiday hat party!!!

Details:  The Santa Barbara Soaring Association’s 2013 Holiday Party will be held on December 7th at Robin’s Cantina. Robin has again graciously offered his Cantina again for our annual party.  His Cantina is a bar on his private property in the foothills of Santa Barbara. This is a very special place and our past parties have been great fun! This will be a POT LUCK style party so everyone needs to bring a dish so sign up with what you are bringing: Potluck signup

The club will providing some beer, wine and utensils. Everyone is always welcome to bring more spirits to help keep them flowing all night long.

We will have a live band this year!! “The Cavern’s” will play around 9ish in the evening and rock us into the night!

Current forecast shows it will be cold outside but most the rain should pass prior to the party (*if we believe the forecasts)  Warm clothes are highly recommended 🙂

Directions: Robin’s Cantina

Parking:  Carpooling is encouraged as there is limited parking.  If you double park, only block in people you know so they don’t have to search for you all night to get out.  Camping is encouraged if you wish not to drive after the party. Please plan to be responsible when drinking and plan to camp or have a designated driver or ride.
