Big Sur Fall Camping and Flying Trip!

Nov 4th – 6th

I know people have been waiting to hear about the fall Big Sur trip so here is the scoop!

**Note:  The Plaskett Campground is open but due to the Big Sur recent fire the fire roads and the forest access are closed.  This means we can’t currently access or use any of the launches.  We will be monitoring this and hopefully it will change before November 4th.  We will update as information is available.  Either way we will still have the group sites available that weekend**  (http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/lpnf/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5347980)

Let’s hope for the best so get out that camping gear, get your flying gear dialed and get ready to come on out and join us for the weekend!!!

We’ve got a two big group camping spots at Plaskett Creek campground, so bring your family and friends!

Carpooling is highly encouraged, plenty of tent space but limited parking spots in the groups sites.

Big Sur is appropriate for all levels of pilots and partiers.

There will be a potluck on Saturday night for those who wish to participate.

From San Luis Obispo, take Highway 1 north for approximately 60 miles to the campground.

From Monterey, take Highway 1 south for approximately 55 miles to the campground.
